yu jia and my boy, i really had soooo much fun there with the both of you! all memories will be left forever in my heart and mind. it was such an enjoying taipei trip! as you know, this is the first time i go overseas without my family. was so looking forward to it and it is to taipei! could you imagine my excitement? luckily, it turned out to be fun! i hope the both of you enjoyed it as well.... shall we go there again? hahahahah.. *^_^*

day one (11/06/2007)

off to our dreamplace~ we took 'free go bus' (飞狗) at 桃园国际机场 to bring us to our hotel at taipei. our room at 明日饭店 is small as we took the cheapest room but i like it. it is cosy! then we headed to macdonald's at 西门町 (very near to our hotel!) for dinner. then to the beautiful ferris wheel at 美丽华百乐园. next to 士林夜市 (we didn't know it is until the sixth day) and to carrefour near our hotel.

day two (12/06/2007)

visited the oldest temple in taipei, 龙山寺. (those who watch meteor garden, remember shan cai's mammy mentioned this temple before?) and then to the miniatures museum of taiwan. ehhhh.... was not very fun but the miniatures look really real and some are cute! had 涮涮锅 for lunch (very fun!) next to 太平洋sogo百货公司 and jay chou's shop. after that is actual shopping at 西门町!

day three (13/06/2007)
hot spring at 北投 and visited the 地热谷 there. hot spring is really interesting! must go when you are in taipei. next.... we went to see energy! yes! it's energy! i knew they had an event before we left for taipei. so lucky! they announced that they have a new member, 小刚. shopping time again! at 五分埔. first 夜市 we went is 饶河街夜市. then went to drink the famous 永和世界豆浆.

day four (14/06/2007)

taipei 101 there we were! it is really amazing. the tallest building in the world~ everything below looks like toys. beautiful building! and went shopping at the shopping centres nearby - 纽约纽约, 华纳威秀 and 新光三越. nothing much to buy there but these shopping centres are what we heard, so must go and take a look! up to 阳明山! next to 师大夜市 and then to eat mango ice at 冰馆.

day five (15/06/2007)

中正纪念堂 here we come! another beautiful architecture of taipei.... brunch at 鼎泰丰. the 小笼包 taste quite similar to singapore's. and up to beautiful 九份. oh!!!! the 'orh-yee' 芋圆 very nice! and the scenary is cool~ shopping time at 西门町 again! beautiful gairls and handsome guys gather here. love 西门町! good to shop, play and eat. most importantly, it is near to our hotel! less than five mins?

day six (16/06/2007)

another long journey.... this time is to 淡水. an interesting place by the river! spent about half a day there. so fun! then took bus to 渔人码头. the scenary is cool and the bridge is lovely.... went to 士林夜市 at night for shopping and good food! it is really big!!!! things are cheaper than 西门町. many illegal vendors but cheap. and next to 阿弟's shop! there are two. but going to move to only one.

day seven (17/06/2007)

had the famous 阿宗面线 and our favourite 鲁肉饭 for brunch at 西门町 and did some last minute shopping and photo-taking. we were left almost penniless. hahahahah.... on board 飞狗 at almost three o'clock to the airport. nothing much to shop and eat in the airport, so had dinner on jetstar (expensive). arrived at singapore at 23:35. home sweet home~~~~

seemed like a packed schedule but there were still many places we did not go, many things we did not eat and many things we did not buy. such as 放天灯 and 烟火 at 平溪, buy more clothes at 五分埔 and go to the 海芋田 at 阳明山. but we had much much much much fun~! bought, ate and did many things! many good things to eat: 鲁肉饭, 贡丸, 蚝煎, 鸡排, 面线, 珍珠奶茶, 芋圆 and many more! we were hooked on to the 投篮机. and we see the real sides of one another (丑样百出). hahahahah.... there are advertisements of taiwanese celebrities everywhere! taipei is a big beautiful place, consisting of both uptown and downtown sides. but both sides of taipei are great and i enjoy them~ wonderful place.... i don't mind going again and again!!!! (many places yet to be conquered)

p/s: yu jia and boy, i don't know whether my plan is good. but hope you enjoy the trip. sorry if i throw any tantrum. you know me well la.... *^_^* i planned it for one month and yet had to make changes for a few times and could not get to do some activities and go to some places, so a bit pek chek. but i really enjoyed these seven days and six nights with the both of you. so so so fun~
