went shopping with niam niam yesterday. been a long time since i shopped this much. actually, not alot, just three items. just that i seldom shop that much. but all three items were bought at sale, so i saved some money while shopping! ha.... bought two heels and one blouse.happy~ having shopped this much, i don't feel at all rich. but happy to spend money still. girls are weird huh? no money but like to shop, and feel happy spending money.
welcome party on this coming friday. something i am quite looking forward to. though i don't know many people in the company. ha.... only people from my unit, hui xian, chui fia, wei yan and a few others. but it is a company event. i feel excited participating. great opportunity to spend time with my colleagues since some of us don't always meet in office recently. and one chinese girl from my batch tendering resignation tomorrow. i am serious depressed when she broke the news to me. why.... it has only been three months. but oh well, i understand her reason, i really do. that's why i respect her decision and gotta cherish these last two weeks being her colleague. though time spent together is only three months, considering it very little, the feeling is just strong. being the four newbies in the unit, we came in together, do shit together, gossip together, joke together, help each other, every moment we share is dearly cherished and remembered. she is one girl whom i feel very comfortable with, a simple girl, 没有杀伤力, a very helpful girl. liu jun, i wish you all the best. and you must remember us. must keep in touch! do visit singapore and catch up with us often! we will bring you to all fun places and good food in singapore! *muacks* and *misses* gotta bond more with colleagues in welcome party cos you don't know how long you can be colleagues.... people come and go, how many stay in your heart?
oh ya, went to ubin on friday for BPS retreat. quite fun. though i have to wake up very early. and though it is not our unit's reatreat. made me look forward to our unit's gathering so much! meals were provided for: breakfast, lunch, tea break and dinner. except for breakfast, others were good. two presentations by the partner and director each. then outdoor activites! played four games. learned that teamwork, communication, integrity and leadership are important. i miss those outward bound courses. since secondary school days and girl guides days.... they are really very fun` from what i saw, nothing much in ubin. but probably i only saw a small part of ubin cos we went to marina country club (mcc) at ubin, sort of a chalet accompanied with those teambuilding games. but going to ubin is quite a hassle. 10 mins shuttle bus ride from punggol to mcc then 30 mins ferry ride. friends, probably we can organise an outing out of singapore main island? *winks*
