news came to me very sudenly and late, on 26 january 2010. a very low profile disband. i counldn't bring myself to come to terms to it. seven years. seems like eveyrthing was just yesterday. yet, i have to face reality. it has been seven years and it has come to an end. energy is now history.
readers, bear with me for this post. 'energy' may never appear on my blog again. i wonder who will know what i am going through. i am missing something big in my life.
i must say i am very proud of the six of them. they stepped to the showbiz by chance when they were young, put in their best in every performance, when the path looked gloomy, they knew they should not take things for granted, they worked very hard to prove themselves, and sure enough, they did us proud, they cared for their fans, despite all rumours, they stood strong fighting, they did not give up, until lady luck left them.
they did enjoy their prime period. and their life span is considered long for pop group of this age. their prime period was our prime period too, when we were in our fun teens and young adulthood. thus, many unforgettable memories and fun moments that we have shared together.
girls, though energy has disbanded, our friendship still holds as strong, together with our crazy unforgettable moments.
no more cab rushing to airport, no more excitable train ride to changi, no more big breakfast at airport, no more long hours queue, no more queue in the rain or sun, no more sudden flow of ecstasy, no new song to the collection anymore, no more founder's bak kut teh with them, no sight of energy as a group anymore.
you are still my favourite idol.
wish the individual members all the best, 身体健康, 事业顺利, 幸福开心. 坤达 - all the best in your acting career. i will watch every show of yours. will.
阿弟 - i know singing is still your passion. go for it. you will succeed. 金曲超级星 jia you! happy family.
