papa's eighth anniversary today, according to the lunar calendar. yesterday, according to the english calendar. mammy prepared a little feast for him. time really flies.... eight years in a wink of the eye. i remember it happened when i was only in secondary two. we miss him so much.... i guess my mammy misses him alot. i cannot help but feel sad at times.... this is a fact....
ninth of august marks singapore's forty-second birthday. happy national day to all singaporeans! and happy birthday to anthrea~ though singapore is still considered a young nation, it cannot be denied that we are progressing and we can be considered to be of international standards. may she grow at a comfortable pace and singaporeans' lives be happy and peaceful. *^_^*
treated my boy to 聚聚北海道昆布锅. i have always wanted to try it. well, it was fulfilled but kind of expensive. total bill of S$67.80. nevertheless, it was fun! similar to the 涮涮鍋 we had in taipei., though not as fantastic. seven courses in total which makes it quite worthwhile and it was very filling. therefore, missed the fireworks session in the end.... shall not miss it on 17 and 18!
