genting. i am so tired.

16 november 2009

departed on 707 coach at 09:30 p.m. at people's park.

i could not sleep well throughout the whole ride with the not-so-comfy seat, street lights flashing pass my eyes and red cliff on the tv. until when we were about to reach genting, making it a less-than-two hour sleep? finally reached at 3+ a.m.

17 november 2009

waited for queue number at 4 a.m. but could only check in at twelve noon. so there we went roaming around, the casino. niam niam and i played jackpot while his parents did not play any. we won a little and stopped. ha. kiasu.

had breakfast, napped at the lobby and finally checked in at 11+ a.m.

slept and woke at about 4. lunch and off to the arcade!

then met his parents in the casino and we went for dinner at this mushroom seafood restaurant, about five to ten minutes ride from the hotel. shuttle service provided. it appears to be a popular restaurant. there were many customers. people who are going to genting, can consider going there for lunch or dinner. it is like our local tze char.

the seafood is yummy! fresh fish and the 四季豆. reasonable price, unlike those in the hotel. definitely a better choice than eating in the hotel. ha.

back to casino then hotel.

it was our forty months anniversary. and we went to the theme park! i have never been to the theme park, so i insisted. we spent RM59 per pax. it was kind of expensive, i think. considering we only had 5 rides. corkscrew was the most exciting of all, cyclone, grand prix fun kart, bumper car and 4d motion master. wanted to play super toboggan and space shot. but didn't, due to some reasons. ha.

tried archery.

then went to shop around, nothing much to buy, price wasn't very much cheaper than singapore.

so it was the casino again and the mushroom restaurant!

we had this weird fish dish, having seen people eating it the previous night. they deep fried the whole fish skeleton of a 非洲魚 with the meat pieces laying around the skeleton. looked weird but it was nice!

19 november 2009

reached kuala lumpur at 11+ a.m.

had 燒臘 near our hotel for lunch. the aunties there are very nice.

stayed at radius international which was quite near to the city, so we shopped at bb plaza, sungei wang. nice shopping at sungei wang, similar to far east. quite cheap though not as cheap as bangkok. didn't buy many though. things were quite similar to singapore's.

ate durian at a stall near our hotel. bagus! ha.

went to chinatown at night. nothing much. had this black hokkien mee. not bad.

then to times square for krispy kreme.

supper was at jalan alor, which was very near to our hotel. had black hokkien mee again. nice! ha.

20 november 2009

shopped at lot 10, too atas to buy anything. had lunch at xin wang hong kong cafe. cheap. the rm price was equivalent to our sgd in the cafe at bugis.

coach came at about 3+, back to singapore.

it was a relaxing trip! not much shopping, so not that tired. tiredness was due to the journey.

it was more of eating and eating. ha.
