i am in china!
yes i am in my hotel room at china now. very tired. 01:15 to 07:00 a.m. in the flight. tried to get some sleep. very difficult. as it was a midnight flight, the plane was not full. thus we were able to occupy one row each. hard to sleep. limited space and the seats were just not suitable for sleep. then wait for transit at beijing airport to 12:25 p.m. didn't sleep at all, chatted the whole way. caught a nap in the one-hour flight to yantai. then chauffer picked us up to rushan, an hour's ride. slept again. but definitely not sufficient. went for late lunch then boss came to bring us for dinner. wanted to buy for winter stuffs in a nearby departmental store. but no size or don't know what to buy. and back to hotel. freezing cold outside! need to get those bubble type coat soon! i want to buy leather gloves and boots too. saw snow!!!! not as big as i thought. more like little droplets of snow. snow.... first time in my life i see real snow! shall take photographs. though it is beautiful. a price to pay. freezing cold. and i mean freezing. my ears, hands and legs are frozen. oh ya! the late lunch. we ordered la la soup. and guess what? we found black residue in the soup halfway through the meal. seems like they didn't not wash the la la clean. i must have eaten quite alot of mud, or sand. shall upload the photographs when i go back! the residue is like sesame paste. but real disgusting. watched red cliff 2 with niam niam on friday, the opening day. my anxious boyfriend bought the tickets the minute the seatings were out. i prefer red cliff 1. not that part 2 is bad. just that a bit draggy here and there. the war was only the last thirty minutes. the first two hours are about the strategies. zhu-ge liang is so good man! he can forecast the weather for the next three days by looking at the movement of the clouds. a thought arose after this movie. why are there wars? people started fighting thousands of years ago? what are they after? the feeling of victory? for territory? for women? to realise a greed? to rebel against the emperor? don't they realise that thousands of lives were taken? an arrow can just kill a soldier. and in a war, both parties exchange thousands of arrows. and besides arrow, an army can have other weapons. the number of people dead. can is justify the reason for war? is a victory worth celebrating? nevertheless, i am still thankful for the wars in the story of the three kingdoms. very interesting. there is always something to learn from every one of it. 自古英雄难过美人关。江山美人,何取舍? tired. have to wake up early. so bye! I'm Monica. I was born in a piece on 31st of March in Singapore. Half-boiled egg cos I am not a girl, not yet a woman. I love my family, boyfriend and friends. And definitely, myself. My interests are in movies and chinese pop. Not really that kind of Sing girl. Cos I don't really love shopping though of course, I enjoy it. Thus, not a fashionista. Yeah. Girl next door? Perhaps. Though I do not possess that x-factor. Whatever it is, just simple. Website: Facebook | Blogskins Followers.
