a corny phrase: time flies. two and a half days and i will be on my way back to singapore. not too short, not too long. but then, seems quite soon too. for i have spent about nine days away from home. two and a half days is nothing. but still, i miss home! but then again, i think i will miss rushan. dilemma right? haha.
i kind of like the lifestyle here. people don't work very hard. not all, i mean. very laidback. the city is quite different from the country side, half an hour journey away, which we go through everyday. in the country side, mountains are everywhere. quite an eye opener. the city is not as bustling as singapore. not a big population here, so not that developed as compared to the bigger cities.
their lifestyle during winter: work at eight, lunch at eleven, nap to one, knock off at half past four, but they can leave before that.
yesterday is their 小年, one week before chinese new year. people put fireworks (yes, i mean my favourite fireworks!) and fire-crackers 过小年.
i quite like their food now. probably because not used to it when i first came during interim. i miss them now! hahahahah.... their food quite 重口味, can be quite salty. but i like their 五花肉, 饺子s，馒头s, and fresh vegetables and seafood.
my lifestyle now: sleep at ten plus, wake up at six plus, eat at seven plus, work, eat again at twelve, work again, eat again ranging from five plus to six plus, back to hotel to work/housekeep.
will i get used to this lifestyle when i return? ha. don't know.
but i miss my lifestyle in singapore! the things i do after work and during weekends. d******* songs, watch videos which i d*******, chasing 欢喜来逗阵, shopping, etc, etc.
i miss my mammy's dishes! though simple. but that is where i call home.
i miss singapore.
manager came today. thought we can throw him everything and relax. we are wrong! more things to be done as we got more and more nervous. i want to shop at 乳山! this should be the last time i come here. audit partner changing next audit. i want to buy boots, abalone, peanuts, 旺旺 and many many more!!!! finally bought a 羽绒服 on friday. a RMB 128 navy blue one. regrets. i want the shocking pink one! i want to exchange!
and i want to take photos! no snow. is the temperature rising? or are we getting used to the cold weather?
by the way, we worked for consecutively eight days already. meaning? no day off, no weekend.
alright, it's almost ten now. getting ready to sleep. ha.
