third day of new job. company bigger than i expected. people are okay, not as noisy as those chatty ones i have met before but generally still quite nice. first time working in a uk mnc. eye opener to a certain extend. just that i am seated a distance away temporarily, which makes me sleepy at times. ha. new accounting software. not user-friendly? or maybe just unfamiliar yet. new terms are driving me crazy. endure, this is transition period.
received a call. call which i had been waiting the past two weeks. i thought i did not fare well during the interview. a type of organisation which i have always wanted to work in. every situation has its pros and cons. job scope-wise, quite a good kind of exposure. am i thinking too much? i don't know. why am i in a dilemma position again? stop thinking. concentrate on current job. for other issues, put them aside until they really realise.
a little thought on jay chou concert. seriously, this is just exaggerating. first concert, sold out, second concert, third concert, sold out. i am not being sarcastic, just amazed, really amazed. singaporeans are rich, aren't they? or just willing to spend? i read news of the tickets through stomp. big hoo-hah. i underestimated his charm though i am not mesmerised by him. $228! do you know what you can do with that? serve those black market right if they can't sell the tix.
