watched going the distance with yu jia and niam niam on friday. honestly, it was not as good as i had expected. bit draggy. had it not been the lead actress and actor, i may not have watched it. the entertaining part was there were loads of humour. drew barrymore is a very natural actress, that's why i love her movies. and justin long is cute! something from the movie: LDR is hard to maintain which requires lots of compromise and to live with missing each other dearly.

i know this is not a new topic but i just need to get it off me. i really don't understand what are some of the facebook users thinking. take facebook as their own blog? updating every now and then. can't they be more considerate? i hate my wall being flooded by their posts. they just irritate me. can't they get a blog or find something better to do? than to let EVERYBODY know their everyday life. fyi, facebook is for social networking, not a public diary.

been busy with budget the last week at work. this is the first time i feel that working with excel worksheets can really be dreadful. formula, formula, formula and formula. they are killing me. i worked as late as nine. i know it isn't bad as compared to when i was doing audit. but i just need to grumble. and especially when your counterpart is working at a time zone different from ours, and when english is not their main language. thankfully, it is an annual activity.

mid-autumn festival is around the corner. and yeah! my mooncakes will be available tomorrow. in time for the festival on wednesday. ordered goodwood park snowskin mooncake. first time trying. hope they are good. at the meantime, i'm enjoying my 小猪 piglet mooncake. mammy replenishes the stock everytime it runs out. yeah. mooncakes are the enjoyment during mid-autumn festival. and of course, lanterns and candles. and yet again, the childhood times.
