十八般武艺

lee hom's latest album <十八般武艺> 18 martial arts is out in stores now! of course, i bought it and attended his only autograph session in singapore on 20th august 2010, last friday. personally, i feel that this album is good. i like most of the songs, especially 你不知道的事 and 天涯海角. he gave his full attention to fans at the session, with eyes full on the person in front of him. i could feel his sincerity and that was really polite. though it lasted less than an hour, i am glad enough to secure his autograph.

after, had bak kut teh at our favourite founder bak kut teh at balestier with yu jia and hui xian. i guess that will always be yu jia and my favourite bak kut teh. was expecting lee hom but he didn't appear. maybe we were right, abcs don't eat bak kut teh. anyway, though the place is not really convenient for us, it is always nice to eat there once in a while. brought back many fond memories. can always remember energy was just a table away from us.

watched the expendables with niam niam on saturday. he has been telling me long before it was shown. i really didn't want to watch cos the trailer didn't interest me a single bit. but well, i watched it with him. it was quite good. i had thought that i won't be able to understand the movie. but it was quite direct. and yeah, sylvester stallone really impressed me. jet li is really a pride to asia, chinese and singapore! slightly gross, slightly bloody.

played mahjong with hui xian, guo wei and niam niam saturday night to six the next morning. i was the big loser, hui xian the big winner. but well, luckily didn't lose much, nine dollars. been a long time since we played overnight mahjong. it was fun cracking jokes, creating lame fun, and listening to 'classics'. i am still suffering from insufficient-sleep-syndrome judging from today's low energy level. though i am tired.... when is the next mahjong session?
