the sorcerer's apprentice is so much fun! i enjoyed it so much~ magical, entertaining and exciting. it is a blast. absolutely a delight to watch. jay baruchel is so cute! didn't expect nicholas cage to have a humourous side. a charismatic man, i like. just that this sorcerer isn't exactly charismatic. so does sorcery actually exist? i believe so. makes me wonder is it a good or bad thing? the sorcerer's apprentice. definitely the coolest job ever.
went to parco marina bay with niam niam on saturday. had ramen at keisuke tokyo. came across this restaurant from hungrygowhere and cleo, so went there to try. i thought it was not bad. i had the crab base, he had the prawn one. the stock is very thick. they have unique hemispherical bowls. marutama serves the best flavoured egg i have ever tasted so far, second will be keisuke. then caught fireworks from national day parade preview at esplanade. my favourite! there's a moon and five stars fireworks~ our singapore flag. :)
watched a documentary yesterday. about extinction and mankind. many afterthoughts. many animals are facing extinction. they are so helpless when facing the powerful mankind. we hunt them for all that we find valuable, having no concern of its threat of extinction. the world is changing. pollution is now a global issue. being the biggest population on earth, humans are the smartest species, they are also the fiercest and most powerful hunters.
not having good sleep recently, especially early mornings with howling wind and heavy rain. was woken up by howling winds a few times. served a reminder to close the windows before it poured, or before the rain got really heavy. is this another sign of nature's defiant? thunderstorms and floods in the usually scorching summer. look at humans' work. we are driving the world crazy. that aside, i want good quality sleep.
