despicable me and inception

watched despicable me with niam niam last sunday on our forty-ninth month anniversary. despicable me is evilishly entertaining! i would say it is the animation of the year. agnes and the minions are extremely adorable! gru, the supervillian is quite cute too. superbad, superdad. the storyline isn't fantastic when the mission is to steal the moon. the best were the characters and lines. awwww, i just love despicable me! agnes is just plain CUTE and the minions crazily adorable! gru's accent is amusing too~

best remedy for a bored or upset day. check them out on youtube! any clip will do the job easily.

watched inception with yu jia and hui xian on 21st july 2010, wednesday. have never thought of watching it when i saw the trailier but it is brilliantly splendid. quoting from many reviews, 'it is the must-watch of the year'! i personally feel the plot is fantastic. it is about extraction of information in other's dream and planting idea in other's subconcious. who would have given so much thoughts about dreams? have you ever thought of how you got to a place in your dreams? we always wake up, only remembering the gist of the dream. the movie is very well-written. losing way in a dream? live in both dream and reality?

it would be great if we can create our own dreams or to manipulate one's dream.

this is the first time i feel that leonardo is truly a good actor. his acting skills ought to be applauded.

good movies always make my day. we are movie goers. and i don't see it as wasting money. it is a form of entertainment. especially watching good movies. it makes your money much worthwhile. and i feel so glad that there are always good productions around. talented people produce good movies. and even evoke inner thoughts which would otherwise, be absent.

next movie should be the sorcerer's apprentice? hope it is another great film.

and yes, it was ah di's 28th birthday on wednesday. hui xian was 'tricked' to spend it with us. and thanks for always sharing it with us! hahahahah.... had a slice of chocolate truffle over drinks at spinelli after inception.
