niam niam is back! after four weeks in tokyo. miss him! haha! that allows me some space for myself to study for my cpa paper. and thank niam niam, you never fail to be my advisor despite miles apart, especially advises for my next career move. though we had disagreements. i know you meant well for me. and well, i guess my current employer is really quite good! may i have a fruitful experience and room for growth.
oh! and thanks again, niam niam, for all the things you have bought for me! i know you dote on me! i hope they are sufficient for a year supply before you go again next year. haha. perhaps i can buy them myself at japan next year? haha. they are so much cheaper in japan!
i guess a little separation really spices up the relationship. distance puts a test on the relationship, and we learn to cherish each other and everything more. although having an own space sometimes is good for the body, mind and soul.

little thought about some happening some time ago.
i don't understand why some people don't know what should be said and what should not. what do you gain by putting others down? especially when you don't benefit from it and you don't even play a role in it. being the cause of unhappiness and misunderstanding, you enjoy it? what if the message you convey is untrue? even if it is true, do you have to say it? some things are better left unsaid, don't you know that? can you please understand your audience before shooting it off? that is the basics of a conversation. know the impact your words will be on the audience. please foresee the outcome before it comes out from your mouth.
on another note, i am really glad and grateful that something has been resolved. it is a heavy load off my mind. you know, some things just don't change. touched by words. you make me feel important too. i can be important too!
watched ip man 2 yesterday. a highly-anticipated sequel. well, maybe heard too many fantastic remarks, so pinned really high hopes. naturally, disappointment follows when it isn't as 'wow' as what had been expected. it is nice, really nice, not bad at all. i think the only flaw is that the pace is too fast? a typical singaporean. pace too slow, complain, too fast, also complain. haha. the spirit of chinese kungfu. nice.
next up, iron man 2 (yes, still un-watched), shrek forever after, and sex and the city 2.
