It's been a long four months. Procrastinating and I think I should be back to summarise my 2012 and to begin my 2013 with this post. Yes, I've posted on facebook but I'm more comfortable in my intimate corner here. It's been a great 2012. A few significant events which make it different from previous years. 2013 is yet another significant year for me, so I've concluded my 2012 with mixed feelings. Longing for 2013 and yet feeling uneasy.
2012 Reflections
I'M ENGAGED! With my dear Mr. Tong of course. On Energy's 10th anniversary gathering. :) Thanks Ai, I know it takes a great deal of planning and of course, courage. I must say that was your bravest act ever. And most romantic one. You've made the engagement and gathering an ultimate memorable one. The best proposal ever. You certainly know how to win my heart. Love you. Deep deep.
Wedding plans activated. Purchased a flat, just a floor above his current place. Booked wedding banquet. Wedding lunch at Intercontinental on 07th September 2013.
Promotion at work. Business trip to Russia, Sakhalin, during winter. And it was snowing! First time on board a vessel. Developed friendship with some colleagues. You know who you are. I truly appreciate it. Thanks.
Holidays - First time to Bali, for my birthday, it's a really a lovely place! Annual trip to Bangkok, with Ai and The Ladies, Sirocco is worth mentioning. Then to Taiwan with Ai and his colleagues, yes, Energy 10th anniversary gathering and The Proposal. To Taiwan again 2 months later, 4th time to Taiwan, to fulfil my little dream to bring my mammy to my fave Taiwan, together with 2 wonderful colleagues, Lala and Rina, great pleasure to be their guide. Last trip of the year to Hong Kong with Ai, for his birthday, I love Disneyland, and Ferragamo.
Another little dream fulfilled is to attend Energy gathering. I believe this is the dream of all Energy fans. But sadly, I was without my Energy khakis. Hope we can all go together the next time! Thankfully, I was accompanied by Ai and Twinnie, and other fans. It was a heartwarming party. Especially that "大家好，我们是 Energy!" was exceptionally tear-jerking. Reunion of the 5 members, how rare is that! And thank you everybody who has witnessed the proposal. No words can ever describe how much I appreciate and cherish this gathering and proposal.
LASIK. Yeah! Finally get it done.
Eczema flare up. Visiting both Eu Yan Sang physician and skin specialist for treatment. Oh man, allergies are a pain. Please take them away from me. I want to be a beautiful bride! :(
Lee Hom concert. Oh man, need me to say more? He's the Music-Man! Even Ai was so impressed first time attending his concert.
